About Us
Hi, I'm Christy.
Like many people living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), my journey began with symptoms that were confusing, frustrating, and life-changing. What started as unexplained dizziness, fatigue, rapid heart rate, brain fog, and daily struggles eventually led to a diagnosis that would completely reshape my life.
Living with POTS has affected nearly every aspect of my daily routine. Simple tasks that many people take for granted often require careful planning, extra energy, and a tremendous amount of determination. There have been days filled with uncertainty, setbacks, and challenges, but there have also been moments of resilience, growth, and purpose.
Throughout my journey, I discovered that one of the hardest parts of living with a chronic illness is feeling misunderstood and alone. I searched for products, encouragement, and a community that truly understood the realities of life with dysautonomia and POTS. What I found was a gap that needed to be filled.
That realization became the inspiration behind The Pots Place.
I created The Pots Place to be more than just a brand. My vision was to build a space where people living with POTS, dysautonomia, and other chronic illnesses could find products that bring comfort, encouragement, awareness, and even a little joy to their everyday lives.
Every design, product, and message is created with the chronic illness community in mind because I am part of that community. I understand the doctor's appointments, the difficult days, the invisible battles, and the victories that deserve to be celebrated.
My mission is simple: to help others feel seen, understood, and supported while raising awareness about POTS and dysautonomia. If something from The Pots Place makes you smile, helps you feel less alone, or starts a conversation that increases awareness, then I've accomplished exactly what I set out to do.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this journey with me.
Together, we can bring a little more understanding, hope, and joy to life with POTS.
With gratitude,
Christy Nichole
